Just Fix the Roads

Washtenaw County Road and non-Motorized Millage: 2025 – 2028

In the past 6 years, county millages have helped Washtenaw County Road Commission improve more than 330 miles of county roads, but there is still a lot of work to do.

There are still many miles of county primary roads rated in poor condition and miles of the Border to Border Trail to complete. The state funding situation has improved but not quickly enough to keep up with deteriorating road conditions and the community’s desire for non-motorized facilities. These and more are the reasons that voters will be asked on August 6, 2024 if they want to renew the roads and non-motorized millage for another four years.

If renewed, the millage will fund more than 165 miles of road improvements and at least 10 non-motorized path projects across the county.

Just Fix the Roads Washtenaw County is a ballot question committee created to support the approval of this ballot proposal and share updates on completed projects over the four-year duration of the millage.
